Hello and welcome to my journey across marketing and communications, countries and cultures. Our lives are constantly changing and so am I, driven to self development and learning new things.

Professional me

My career in marketing and communications started by chance but I have never looked back.

Having completed my CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing, I dreamt about creative work. In 2006, I started at an integrated agency Mason Zimbler in Bristol, in the UK, working for Microsoft. I won a ‘Microsoft Agency Person of the Year’ award’ but I craved a ‘big city’ adventure.

In 2009 I moved to Proximity London (now RAPP), where I delivered award-winning digital campaigns, including a DMA award. I grew my Philadelphia Cheese account by 70% in less than 1.5 years, and secured the European markets coordination for this account.

As a winner of an internal talent development programme, I travelled to Brazil to develop a charity comms campaigns for a recycling NGO, having first self-raised the marketing budget and learnt basic Portuguese.

In 2012, I joined a youth marketing agency Livity to use my communications skills for good causes. I led insight-led and behaviour-change projects focused on young audiences for Google, Centrica, National Rail, Tesco, The Guardian.

As a digital marketing consultant, I designed and delivered digital skills workshops for young people through programmes commissioned by Roundhouse and National Citizen Service.

In 2016, I moved to France, where I experienced in-house marketing for a SaaS organisation Rakuten Aquafadas (now Rakuten DX). As a board member, head of marketing I led marketing for a digital publishing platform following its acquisition by Rakuten, navigating declining demand and strong competition.

Currently I co-lead marketing and communications across the EMEA region for the global association representing the attractions industry (IAAPA). I meet event acquisition goals year on year through strategically planned, 360° regional campaigns across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. I introduced more insight-led content and storytelling to improve engagement with members and prospects.

In 2023 / 2024 I designed and delivered digital marketing and corporate communications lectures for third-yearstudents of Business Management and Administration at University of Montpellier (IUT Nimes).

Adventurous me

I am driven by stepping out of my comfort zone. I spent time living in a Brazilian favela while working with a local NGO. I have skydived and ran two half marathons.

Curious me

I am a lifelong learner, constantly exploring marketing, leadership and current affairs through podcasts.

Good causes me

I enjoy helping others through purpose first actions including: teaching students, youth development, mentoring, sustainability and women in tech initiatives.
